Why I decided to run my own Creation Station… I’ve always loved art & creativity- anything with paint and glue kept me engaged for hours as a child. Fortunately I applied for a job with Creation Station which lead to me being offered the franchise when it became available in 2017. I leapt at the chance and haven’t looked back! Inspiring all ages to be creative is a dream job.
What I did before I ran my own Creation Station… Variety is the spice of life… previously I worked as a special effects Make-up Arist, a Nanny, and in a pub -behind the bar and in kitchen. I loved my time doing all these.
What I love about running my own Creation Station… I truly love working with children and helping to inspire their creativity whilst they inspire mine! I love how a class can all have the same starting point of inspiration and materials yet all create something different and unique to each of them. It can be hard work but I adore it! I also love inspiring creativity in all ages- adults often tell me they aren’t creative yet given some materials and a little time they all without fail create something amazing
Something you may not know about me… I love musical films and my favourite one growing up was Dr Dolittle because I loved the animals
My favourite joke… What did the policeman say to his tummy?…. You’re under a vest!
